Denise Lazelle joined the AUSA Advocacy Office in 2007 having worked within the tertiary sector for two years liaising with postgraduate and undergraduate students at Victoria University. She is a trained Mediator with, LEADR- Association of Dispute Resolvers. As disputes regularly occur in life, it is important to know the best way to resolve them quickly and effectively. The Advocacy Service offers a means for students to do this within the University system.

Jade is a final year Law (Hons) and Arts student, majoring in Politics and International Relations. She is passionate about human rights and equity, and is also Co-Director of the Equal Justice Project. This is her fourth year at AUSA Advocacy. She is dedicated to empowering her fellow students to overcome their challenges, and looks forward to helping students this year.

Vaash is a final year Law student, having previously graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. This is her second year as Senior Advocate. She is passionate about social justice issues, particularly proper and adequate access to justice and is also on the Executive of the Equal Justice Project. She places high importance on student well being and looks forward to helping students navigate their way around University and help out where ever she can.

A new team of AUSA Advocates are selected each year. These students assist the Advocacy staff to support students to resolve issues and complaints related to academic and personal issues.
